What this site stores

When you request an evaluation on the evaluate page, the email address you enter and the date you registered are stored so that the 30-day evaluation can be granted and can expire. Nothing else about you is collected: no analytics, no tracking cookies, no advertising identifiers.

What the application sends

CaseLeaf checks once a day, at most, whether a newer copy of the handbook is available, by requesting a small manifest file from this site. That request carries no account, no document contents and no identifier for you or your Mac — it is the same request for every copy of the application. A setting turns this check off.

Documents

CaseLeaf does not send your documents anywhere. Everything it does to a PDF happens on your Mac, and history, bookmarks and the redaction record are written into the PDF itself, not to a server.
